UPDATE #2: MAJOR CASE SQUAD ARRESTS SUSPECT IN ST. PETERS HOMICIDE

The Office of Prosecuting Attorney Joseph G. McCulloch charged Christopher L. Harper, 51, of St. Louis was charged with Murder 1st, Armed Criminal Action, Burglary 1st and Two Counts of Assault 1st Degree.
Charges arose when St. Peters Police Department received a call at approximately 1:40 AM on May 22 for a shooting inside of a residence in the 1600 block of Country Acres Drive. When officers arrived, they located three gunshot victims inside the house. Two female victims, ages 13 and 45 years old, both received gunshot wounds and were immediately transported to a local hospital for treatment. The male victim, identified as Darin Gosenjohan, 57 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Harper is currently in custody and has been denied bond. This matter is now pending before The Honorable Judge Dennis Chassaniol.
