CHARGES ISSUED IN MAJOR CASE INVESTIGATION

Willie B. Brooks Jr (19) of Woodson Terrace was charged in connection of the murder of Jaylen J. Jones (20) of St. Louis MO.

On Friday June 3, 2022 Brooks was charged with Felony Murder, Robbery 1st, Attempted Robbery 1st, Assault 2nd, three (3) counts of Armed Criminal Action and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. Bond was set at $1,000,000 (no 10%), Brooks is being held in the St. Louis County Jail.

A second victim sustained non-life threatening injuries during the incident.
