MAJOR CASE SQUAD INVESTIGATING HOMICIDE IN NORMANDY
At approximately 10pm last evening (April 19th) the Normandy Police Department responded to the 7700 block of Woodstock Road for a report of shots fired. Upon officers’ arrival, they found a person inside the home who had suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body. The other occupants of the home were uninjured.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and, despite life-saving efforts of officers on the scene, he was not able to be revived. The victim is identified as:
Davis, Eugene M.
30 years of age
Resident of the 5300 block of Fox Chase Drive in St. Charles, Missouri
Witnesses reported that a vehicle sped off from the scene of the shooting, however, the identity of the perpetrator(s) is unknown and there is no description of the vehicle available at this time.
